Oh my, it has been almost a month since I last posted. Tisk tisk... I can't believe it, I neglected my blog for too long. I hope never to do it again. Much has happened in our little lives in the last month.
We had a low key Fathers Day....actually we celebrated a day late as the man had to work on the actual day. But it was nice to spend some quality family time. Hun, if you read this...your an awesome father to Liv and a wonderful hubby.
We also had a very sick cat, Mia. She was diagnosed with diabetes and had the most difficult decision to put her down. She was of good age, a true friend to Liv and she will be sorely missed in our house hold. You never truly know how ingrained a pet is or really anyone for that matter is until they are gone.
Liv, I and grandma also took a road trip this past weekend to Calgary to try to get some R&R after the loss of Mia. It was a good little getaway but glad we are home again with the hubby.

So much for....
Well so much for the plan to write almost everyday. Our week was so full. We visited the Grant MacEwan Design grad show and met up with old cohorts and teachers. Was nice to touch base.
Over the last week our household was hit with the flu! We were all affected except for the man of the house. I question if he has a immune system made of steel! But thankfully we are recovered and I am anxious to post as much as I can this weekend to make up for a week of being under the weather.
We also had our traditional spring snow, so we stayed in and pretended we were really snowed in! For us who live in Alberta that would mean at least a good foot or so of snow, enough that you would have to actually take a shovel to dig your car out! My only regret was that I didn't grab the camera and take some of the fantastic images that nature had produced for us.
